From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.

Navigate: Settings. Connections. NFC and contactless payment. .

Tap the. NFC switch. (upper-right) to turn on or off .

Yes! Of course. Galaxy A12 normally has NFC functionality available for scanning NFC tags.
