Notification Settings:
General Notification Settings.
Go to your phone's "Settings."
Tap on "Notifications."
Ensure "Do Not Disturb" is turned off.
Tap on "Lock screen notifications."
Make sure it's turned "On" and that you've selected to "Show content" (or your preferred level of detail).
App-Specific Notifications:
For WhatsApp and SMS:
Long-press the app icon.
Tap the "i" (information) icon.
Tap on "Notifications."
Ensure notifications are enabled and that "Lock screen" notifications are allowed.
Also make sure that the notification style is set to alert, and not silent.

2. Special Access Settings:
Full Screen Alerts:
Go to "Settings" > "Apps."
Tap the three dots (or menu icon) in the top-right corner.
Select "Special access."
Scroll down to "Full screen alerts" and tap it.
Ensure the toggle switch is turned on for WhatsApp and your SMS app. This has been a solution for many samsung users.

3. Lock Screen and AOD (Always On Display):
Always On Display:
In "Settings," go to "Lock screen and AOD."
If you want notification icons to remain visible, consider turning on "Always On Display" and setting it to show for new notifications.

4. Edge Lighting:
If you have Edge lighting enabled, it can sometimes interfere with regular lock screen notifications. So it may be worth it to check those settings.
Settings> Notifications> Edge lighting style.

5. Restart Your Phone:
A simple restart can often resolve minor software glitches.
