Will galaxy a22 5g get one ui 6 update?

Samsung promised only 2 years of major os update.

But some tech enthusiasts says that Samsung promised an extra one year major os update for several phones including galaxy a22 5g.

Is that true? Or just a rumour?

According to Samsung, they have mentioned that a22 is not eligible for One UI 6.0 with Android 14.
My Opinion is that since each device model varies in hardware features, every (Mainly All 5G Versions) device should be able to get at least some part of the next One UI update.
