Galaxy ANow that One UI 7 is available for high-end devices, Samsung has turned its attention to lower-cost Galaxy phones and tablets. The latest two phones to receive the Android 15-based One UI 7 update are the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A16.
At the moment, the updates are rolling out in Korea, where Community members have shared a few details.
In Korea, the Galaxy A15 receives One UI 7 through firmware version BYD5. The package includes the March 2024 security patch.
Meanwhile, the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A16 carries the BYE2 firmware version and ships with the November 2024 security patch.
Other markets should follow soon enough, and we will keep you posted as soon as One UI 7's reach expands. One UI 7 is a massive update with noticeable aesthetic changes, but as usual, the low-cost Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A16 won't get the full suite of One UI 7 features you'll find on more premium phones.
