We recommend checking the results by testing under Samsung Members > Get help > Support > Diagnostics > View tests > Fingerprint recognition. If the result is "Fingerprint scanner working normally", there is nothing wrong with the sensor.
You can try the following steps for the problem;
• Make sure the Fingerprint sensor on your device is clean. (You can clean the circular fingerprint sensor with a clean and soft cloth.)
• Make sure that no accessories on your device are blocking the fingerprint sensor.
• An error may have occurred while defining your Fingerprint to your device or it may not be fully defined. We recommend that you remove the registered fingerprints and re-identify the fingerprint.
