The main difference between adaptive refresh rate and high refresh rate on Samsung devices is that adaptive refresh rate adjusts the screen's refresh rate based on the content being displayed, while high refresh rate locks the screen to a higher refresh rate. So when using a high refresh rate, it becomes less smooth compared to the adaptive refresh rate. But when using flagship devices with a high refresh rate. It's also a lot smooth compared to the mid range devices.

Adaptive refresh rate can sometimes make things look choppy, but software and hardware improvements can make it work better. Manufacturers should also let users choose their own refresh rate and change it based on what they're doing. This way, we can get the best of both worlds: good battery life and smooth scrolling.

This is because the adaptive refresh rate can alternate between 120hz all the way to 45hz. Where as high refresh rate will leave it on 120hz. Meaning even when ur phone is offed, the screen is functioning at 120hz, which doesn't need so much power when the display is not being used. This will drain ur battery much faster than adaptive refresh rate will.

If u are watching a movie, the screen drops the refresh rate down to 45, which will still display a smooth movie and save battery life, as opposed to the display constantly being 120hz, when u are watching a movie and not interacting with the display at all.

Hope this helps.

Everything else is fine, adaptive is 0-120hz
High is better than 90 hz But the reason why I said that the high does not reach 120hz is because the Galaxy M34 5g is 120hz high 120hz adaptive in A35 5g, I noticed this difference while comparing both, that's why I asked.
