I used AOD only once during those S7 Edge days, it drained my battery really fast, so i never used it ever again. It's is set on "Tap to show"
By the way, are you using 120 Hz refresh rate? Or RAM extanded?

120Hz with 4GB Ram extended.

I also use on Tap to Show. But today I noticed AOD is not working properly. Screen goes black again again

I have an 8gb model, i assume you have the same. There's no need to to used 4Gb extanded RAM as 8Gb onboard RAM is enough, so as soon as Samsung allowed users to turn it off, i turned it off 😀

Mene bhi apna phone 120Hz per set kardia hai, and also using AOD will "Always show" with Auto Brightness on. Will inform tomorrow

Mobile reset k baad default 4Gb lga hua tha to mei ne change nhi kia. Zaroorat to waqai nhi. To.off kr dunga

I tested my device all whole day with AoD with auto brightness on 120Hz, charged 3 times, it all worked fine. No flickering at all.

Actually that was a bug i encountered after updating Google play protect.
AOD was blinking even with 1 second gap.
Got it fixed after clearing Adaptive Brightness Data from setting. From last night it's working absolutely fine.

Restarting, clearing cache, repair apps - nothing worked for me.

Samsung k panel se hmesha dar hi lga rhta hai. Kbhi bhi sath Chor deta h.
Phle A52 mei burn in aa gya tha within warranty period.

Shukar A52s to theek chal rha h 1.5 years se. Kl blinking dekh kr mujhe lga time aa gya iska bhi 😅

Hahaha i know that feeling. I had a green screen issue with my S8 last year, i took to their service centre and they asked 22K to replace it, so i told the guy khuda ka khouf kar yar 😆 i bought A52s instead. Hopefully it will continue to work inshaAllah
