2 mistakes

1) Not switching to Android from Symbian OS. Instead they tried to make their own OS Lumia which failed after one generation.

2) Not switching to Snapdragon after 2nd big failure. Instead they tried one of the worst chipset Unisoc.

You can search and read the ups and downs of this brand but in my opinion when someone not follow the modern technology with the passage of time then it must be ruined slowly and finally disappear from the ultimate race.
