Yes, got a call again after cancelation that they have raised this to the Samsung and whether they will allow the pre order price. Let's wait and see

If everyone calls them to cancel our pre orders they will realize that they're losing a loyal customer base. I called softlogic to cancel my order and they also wanted me to hold on without cancelling till they confirm whether we can buy it at the initial pre order price.
It's pretty clear they already had da devices in Sri Lanka before da price hike and now they're using da increased tax rate as an excuse to make some extra money.

yeah. Im pretty sure they got the devices or paid for the devices before the price hike. This is pretty unethical as softlogic is a major company and we all believed in them.

I've requested a refund already but if we can still make a case I'll gladly support it.
Samsung anyway lost some loyal customers with the way they treated their customers with this issue.

True. All these days when all of my family members were using apple I have been using Samsung always. If Dialog Asks for a higher price for this I'm going to move to Apple as well as some other Service Provider from dialog.....

And guys we all should leave negative reviews on our respective vendors describing what happened. Atleast then people who are looking preorder in future can be aware of this and how samsung handled it. 😑
