Tech ExpertWhat does this mean?
"Legitimate financial institutions never ask customers to install file manager apps due to security risks and past phishing incidents."
I have developed an Android App for Android 14.
It works pretty on One UI 6.0.
After update on UI 6.1 suddenly I can not install my app any longer.
Why my app now has been flagged as a voice phishing app?
This must be a bug in One UI 6.1.
I can not understand why suddenly my app is blocked.
Any ideas?
I listen that only Korean Samsung smartphones are restricted from now on.
Strange.
What cause this bug?

Tech ExpertIf you forget a step during installation, your app will be locked, regardless of the category. I tried several phones. Same behavior on all phones. After that you can not install your app any longer on these phones.
You must click on "Ignore and Install". You have to skip the question for checkup.
Don't click on "Check the app".
If you do so, your app will be banned without reason.
Instead click above the drop down box "More details".
Now this drop down box changed into text "Install without inspection".
After this the app can be installed.Step 1 : Click "Ignore and install"
Step 2 : Choose "More details"
Step 3 : Choose "Without inspection"
Step 4 : Click "Install"
I hope Samsung fixes this weird bug as soon as possible. It's a nightmare for Samsung phone customers.

Tech ExpertI found one possible solution.
It does not work: turn off wifi
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It does not work: turn off mobile data
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It does not work: reset to factory settings
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Instead of wasting your life, do this!
With this solution, we were able to install our corporate software for our call center client on Android 14 One UI 6.1. Our app is now no longer flagged as a phishing app. The installation process went smoothly and without any stupid warning messages on Samsung smartphones. Our customers are now very satisfied.
Simply remove the SIM card during the installation process.

Tech ExpertThere is no optimization or magic moment. It's a Samsung problem. Or a Google problem. Whatever the reason is that the user suddenly faces this unexpected prejudice of a voice phishing app.
I am currently trying to prepare the app for Google Store. If the app is accepted for publication on Google Store, I hope this misunderstanding as a voice phishing app is resolved. Maybe this problem occurred as a mismatch between the permission granted and the permission confirmed by Samsung or Google.
The app can be installed without a SIM card (no internet connection). This suggests that there is a secret data exchange between Samsung or Google, who monitor all activities on this device during the app installation. There is no point in unselecting WiFi or mobile internet data. The SIM card must be removed during installation.
