Galaxy samart tag 2 location not updating

I am from Sri Lanka. Recently I purchased a Galaxy smart tag 2. But it only works when it is near my phone's coverage. Location is not getting updated when the tag is far away. It is supposed to update it's location whenever there is another galaxy device in range. Seems like it is not happening.

The other person's phone must have the Offline Finding feature turned on to help others find their devices. If the feature is switched on in the other person's phone you'll be able to track your device.

Hey, Thanks for the reply. I checked with another galaxy device after turning on the feature. Still the tag shows last location when the tag was near my phone. Not that other phone's location. I placed the tag close to that phone. Are you using one? Is it working fine with you?

Welcome, No I don't use a galaxy tag but it should work that way.
