The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite running Android 13 was certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance a few days earlier, and the Galaxy A22 5G. In the meantime, the WFA certified the Galaxy A03s with Android 13 aboard last week.
Considering Samsung's firmware update strategy, the fact that these devices are now prepared for the Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update should surprise no one. Nevertheless, these Wi-Fi Alliance certificates roughly confirm that Samsung has started working on Android 13 for at least the Galaxy A22 5G,A03s, and Tab A7 Lite.
The exact release date of the stable version is unclear. Because, Samsung is now focusing a lot of its energy on preparing One UI 5.0 beta updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, foldable devices from the previous generation, and the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 ranges. These devices will probably be given priority and placed higher in the queue for the Android 13 update. This makes it possible that the Galaxy A22 5G, A03s, and Tab A7 Lite will not see One UI 5.0 until next year.
Once again, according to the exclusive September report, the Galaxy A53 could be a mid-range Galaxy A series phone getting One UI 5.0 before the end of the year. This means that the update may not remain exclusively for flagship devices in 2022.
