First, remove the fingerprint. Then add the fingerprint again. As Dihane said, there may be a problem with the tempered glass

First remove the finger print and add it again. If you can't add it it might be because you're using a tempered glass.

If you're not using a tempered glass and still can't add kindly contact Samsung (it might be a bug)

1. Check if your finger has any liquid or dirt

2. Clean the fingerprint module

3. Check if the fingerprint module is well connected

4. Restart your device

5. Update your software

6. Wipe system cache

7. Recalibrate the fingerprint

8. Reset your device

9. Visit the service center
