Deleting Messages

Does anyone know how to set auto-delete messages and after a specific time like one year?

iOS having that feature but Android hasn't.

in one ui 2.5 you can auto delete old text messages when maintaining 1000 messages. this is general inbox not specific.

It's not a One UI 2.5 feature. It's there since Android 7 or 8.

may be 3rd party android apps would provide such options.
