Yes, it is normal. Maximum wireless charging support in Samsung is 15W. Without taking the S25 Series, which has 25W. So when you normally charge your phone from a cable, it charges 25W in most devices. And you will definitely notice a decrease in charging speed with the wireless charger because it is 15W. Hope this is helpful to you.

What did you mean ? Charging speed or phone’s smoothness ? As Janith said, wireless charging is limited to 15W. You must have a super fast wireless charger to get the full speed of charging.
Wireless charging produces a lot of heat. So that means the phone turns down cpu speeds lower. And it becomes slightly slower.

The observed battery drain during wireless charging is likely due to the device's power consumption exceeding the charging rate. This occurs when the phone is actively used (e.g., mobile hotspot, gaming, video streaming) while simultaneously charging wirelessly, as the power draw (exceeding 15W) surpasses the maximum charging capacity (≤14/15W). This phenomenon results in increased heat generation and places significant stress on the battery, negatively impacting its lifespan. For optimal battery health when using wireless charging pads, it is recommended to avoid using the device while charging or to utilize wired charging solutions with higher wattage capabilities. The intended use case for wireless charging is to charge the device passively while it remains idle on the charging pad.
