I anticipate my Galaxy S24 Ultra will meet my needs for the next seven years, rendering the S25 Ultra an undesirable alternative. Reports suggest the S25 Ultra possesses an aesthetically unappealing design, potentially impacting Samsung's competitiveness against Apple's offerings. My preference for the S24 Ultra stemmed from its boxy design, a hallmark of Samsung's branding, which I find superior to the rumored curved design of the S25 Ultra. Is this revised design truly an enhancement? Consequently, I will not be purchasing a Samsung device this year. The seven years of OS updates provided by my Galaxy S24 Ultra afford me sufficient time to assess Samsung's future product strategy before making another purchase.
