TRCSL Issue

I am planning on buying a phone from abroad, however I heard there is an issue regarding TRCSL when bringing into the country, how can I get it fixed to work here. Thanks

That's not the problem at all. Recently I had bought a Galaxy Device from UAE and it works perfectly. However, you need to know all the information relative to the Galaxy device you are going to buy. Before purchasing check whether the version is for Asian countries or European countries. If it's a European version, then you shouldn't buy it. This is because there is a risk that cellular connectivity will not work.

To bring your Galaxy device from another country, the person bringing the phone must bring the phone and the box separately. That means it should look like an used phone. If this is not the person responsible can be charged through taxes.

Hi... you can use the device here without an issue. If you want you can get the TRC approval once after bringing the device to SL. Previously it was an online process. But not sure if it is available now. It's safe to call to them and clarify about the registration. 😊
