"Hey Galaxy users! I’ve had the chance to use both the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the S24 Ultra, and honestly, I can’t find any significant practical difference between the two.

Performance, camera quality, and overall user experience feel almost identical in daily use. While the S24 Ultra might have some minor upgrades on paper, in real-world usage, the difference is hardly noticeable.

Have you experienced the same? Or do you think the S24 Ultra offers something groundbreaking? Let’s discuss!"

In my opinion, there are no major improvements between the S23 Ultra and the S24 Ultra.
But some of the improvements are.
1. S24 Ultra has a titanium frame and flat display, and S23 Ultra has a slightly curved screen compared to the S24 Ultra. So, in the design, S24 Ultra is greater than S23 Ultra.
2. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is great compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the S23 Ultra.
3. Peak brightness rate is 2600 nits in the S24 Ultra and 1750 nits in S23 Ultra.
4. At last, Samsung started to give 7 years of OS updates to the S24 Series compared to 4 years of OS updates in S23 Series. So, the last major update of the S23 series will be Android 17, and for S24 Series, the last major OS update will be Android 21.

If my comment helped you in any way. Please consider hitting the 3 dot menu of my comment and accept it as a solution. It would be helpful for me a lot.
Thank you 😊

Unlike Apple, Samsung designs devices for long-term use, avoiding Apple's practice of functionally limiting older models to encourage yearly upgrades. Samsung's approach offers superior value and allows consumers to retain their devices for extended periods, with significant advancements typically introduced every five years. Therefore, I recommend purchasing a device you appreciate and using it for several years, rather than constantly seeking the newest model.

That's true. I think the best value phone of Samsung is the A54, and when A55 launches next year, it will be the best value phone in Samsung for the next year. I also like to use a phone for about 4 to 5 years. If it works well. Currently, I am using the A72, and I think it is good to buy a new one next year with the Android 15 update.

Therefore, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is not a necessary upgrade for Galaxy S23 Ultra owners. Comparing devices separated by five or more generations is unproductive.

Newer generations offer significant refinements over their predecessors; known issues are often addressed. However, annual upgrades are not mandatory.

Consequently, the differences between these two devices may not be substantial for all users.

For example, upgrading from a Galaxy S10 to an S24 Ultra yields a far more dramatic improvement than upgrading from an S23 Ultra.

This is analogous to incremental improvements; hence, the seven-year software update commitment. Samsung aims to ensure sustained device performance and usability over an extended period.
