The short answer is: It’s likely due to your region. While the hardware supports it, Samsung disables native call recording in countries where local privacy laws are strict (like most of Europe, the UK, and several US states).

Here is how you can check and what your options are:

1. Double-Check the Native Settings

Before looking for workarounds, make sure it isn't just hidden:

Open the Phone app.
Tap the three dots (Menu) in the top right corner.
Select Settings.
Look for Record calls.

Note: If you don't see "Record calls" here, the feature is software-locked based on your CSC (Country Specific Code).

2. Why it’s missing (The "CSC" Factor)

Samsung uses CSC codes to tailor software to specific regions. Models ending in "B" are typically international/European variants. If your phone is set to a region like Germany (DBT) or the UK (BTU), call recording is legally restricted and removed from the menu entirely.

3. Your Alternatives

Since Google has tightened security on Android 14 and 15, many third-party apps from the Play Store only record your side of the conversation. Here are the most effective workarounds:

● Change the CSC (Advanced): Some users use tools like SamFw to change their region to a country where recording is legal (like India or Vietnam). This enables the native button without rooting, but it requires a PC and can be tricky for beginners.

● ODialer (ColorOS/Realme style): Some specific third-party dialers can occasionally bypass restrictions, but they are hit-or-miss on Samsung.

● External Hardware: If this is for professional use and you can't change software, Bluetooth call recorders that connect to your phone are the only 100% reliable method.
