Sigiriya is a one of great historical valued places in sri lanka. It's a big rock in Mathale dictrict , sri lanka. Sigiriya was not only a rock but also it was a one most powerful fortress in sri lankan history. According to the written history of sri lanka Sigiriya was created by the king Kashyapa as a his kingdom. Sigiriya is a best evidence to prove that ancient sri lankans had a great technology and knowledge. In rainy season we can see some activated water decorations in sigiriya garden. That water irrigation system in the sigirya area works as a one system. On the top of the mountain we can see some ruins of the ancient kingdom. And also we can see world famous sigiriya frescoes and mirror wall. Except all this things Sigiriya realted with some legends about the great King Ravana. Actually sigiriya is a mysterious place with a great history and a great undiscovered ancient technology.
