Samsung launches Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 with new design, One UI 7, 6 Android upgrades, AI features and more
Samsung officially unveiled the new Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and A26. The new smartphones introduce revamped design, One UI 7, 6x OS upgrades, Awesome Intelligence, advanced camera features, enhanced durability, and more.
This time, Samsung is bringing the Galaxy A56 to the United States. Usually, the company doesn’t launch the premium tier A series devices in the US. However, there’s a strategic shift this year as the A56 has been listed on the US store page.
The new smartphones come with a handful of flagship-grade features. The new camera island on the back panel is the most highlighted upgrade. Key Island is also featured on the phone’s right side, surrounding the volume and power buttons.

The Galaxy A56 comes with Exynos 1580 chip, the Galaxy A36 with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and the Galaxy A26 with Exynos 1380. All three models have a 5000mAh battery, while the A56 and A36 support fast charging up to 45W.
Awesome Intelligence brings the advanced Circle to Search, Best Face (A56 only), enhanced Nightography, AI-powered Object Eraser, and S25’s Camera Filters. These features impressively uplevel the capabilities of the new A phones.
The three phones come with Android 15-based One UI 7 along with six years of OS and software updates guarantee. Samsung has also debuted Awesome Intelligence, bringing some cool Galaxy AI features to the non-premium lineup.
