Samsung will rollout the One Ui 7 for the A16 on all regions in the coming week. Some regions already got it including Sri Lanka.

Me and one of my friend have same Samsung a16 5g phone but he got the Ui 7 update yesterday and I'm not. Both phones have same firmware version....idk why I'm not getting the update ??

Firmware version can be same. But Samsung releases the same update for the same phone for different regions at a different time. So if the region code of the Device. Which is the Country Specific code also known as CSC is different. Updates will receive for the same phone in different days.

In this case, same country code for both phones bro. Both are Chinese ones.

Are you sure both are 5G models of the A16. If the CSC is also same. With the CSC there are versions with different service providers. Don't know whether it's like that. We don't have it in Sri Lanka. But for example like Dialog and Mobitel. There are CSC with are same but registered with different service providers when you bought the device. I think America, Canada, Australia and China have it what I said.
But just wait for like 2 weeks and you will get the update. Samsung haven't finished rolling out the update for all regions and networks of the A16.
