Does flashing stock firmware of another region to my device voids my warranty? Is that gonna trigger the Knox counter?
And as per the signal bands vary from region to region, if I gonna install a firmware from another region, what is the most suitable firmware to use here in Srilanka other than the SLK one.(Please include the CSC)
Thank you in advance.

Is it matter wether we are downgrading or upgrading? I mean in terms of knox counter?

Do you know any way to see whether knox is still working or not? I tried a app in play store. It shows that knox is still ok.

Its not about the knox working or not, it doesnt related to that. Its just a counter that allows service centers to reject covering you from warranty if it has triggered. Still all the knox functionality will work normally unkess you are on unofficual custom firmware.

Yeah, There was a app in Playstore to check that called Knox status. I don't know it's legit or not.

On newest updates samsung does not allows you to downgrade (bootloader version mismatch)
If you have any luck you will find a firmware with a same bootloader version with a lower android version but it's risky and I personally do not recommend downgrading.
You can check the knox counter by switching to download mode

It is a Multi CSC. You can change your CSC in there. I tried that after flashing to Android 12, unfortunately it didn't work for me. I don't know why. Maybe they cancelled it with Android 12? Or my device's issue?
Galaxy A
I really didnt aware of that. The only way I was familar with is flashing it using odin. I gonna wait one more day and try this.
Galaxy A
It will only change your CSC. I don't know about how will it affects the OTA updates.
Galaxy A
If its a multi CSC technically the OTA updates are allowed. The thing I was unaware of was the ability to change it and install firmware using that inbuilt menu rarher than use of odin.
Galaxy A
Yeah. But the CSC we have is ODM. It has South Asian CSCs only. Try the Indian CSC since they recieved the Android 12.
