Can anyone help me with this, I replaced my battery recently for samasung galaxy a 70, since my last battery drained quick,  considering that it was the original battery that came with the phone when I bought it in 2019 it seems fair that the battery became weak.  But my new battery is also showing the same weakness. The phone looses about 40-50 % max , of its battery when it is on standby. So I think it is due to some setting on the phone that causes this issue. If anyone had  similar problem let me know what you did.

Your phone’s new battery may seem to be draining faster than your previous device even though you’re using it the same way after purchase.

In the first few days after replacing the battery, lot of users usually activate many applications and set up different features. The frequency of background operation is optimised in this time.

Battery usage time may seem shorted than on your previous device. However, this is part of the setup phase of your new phone.

Keep using the device normally; charge it when the battery drains and allow a few days for all background operations and syncing to complete. After this, your device’s battery will be at its highest potential.

Another area to consider is that the power IC has become faulty over time. Even if you give your battery 2 or 3 weeks you might see that the battery drain is quite fast. If that happens make sure you get someone to check the power IC as it causes such an issue.

With that being said, this issue might resolve after 1 to 2 weeks of regular usage. Clear ur battery stat bin also, it helps.

Ok. Check for another few days. If there's no change, turn the device from safe mode and use couple of days. It'll tell if the cause is background processings. If the issue still exists on safe mode, drop a comment. Will try to sort it out 😊
