Issue with Wind-Free Mode on Multi Split Windfree Air Conditioner and Request for Technical Details

Hello Samsung Community,

I would like to share a matter I'd like to bring to the attention of Samsung customer service regarding the issues we have been experiencing with our Multi Split air conditioner, consisting of 4 indoor units and 2 outdoor units, specifically related to the Wind-Free mode. I am writing in the hopes of seeking clarification on these matters and assistance in resolving them.

Problem with Wind-Free Mode: When operating the air conditioner, as per the user manual, it is recommended to set the temperature between 24℃ to 26℃ in Cool mode when Wind-Free Cooling is active. However, when we set the temperature at 25 degrees in the cooling mode with Wind-Free enabled, the air conditioner automatically opens the airflow channel after 35 minutes, and it does not close it again. To understand this issue better, I require technical information.

Information about Protection Mode: When inquiring with the service team, they mentioned that the device switches to protection mode after 35 minutes of operation. However, I would appreciate more technical details regarding why the protection mode is activated after this specific duration and the interaction between the indoor and outdoor units.

Excess Humidity or Temperature Issue: The service team indicated that the device might switch to protection mode due to excess humidity or temperature. However, could you specify the degree range or reference values for what constitutes excess humidity or temperature? This information is crucial in determining whether the switch to protection mode is based on indoor or outdoor conditions.

Wind-Free Mode and Device State: I need technical information regarding the conditions under which the device transitions to protection mode while Wind-Free mode is active. Additionally, I am curious about the reason why the mobile application still appears to be in Wind-Free mode even when the device has entered protection mode.

Inquiry with Other Users: I have observed that YouTubers reviewing Multi Split Windfree air conditioners abroad do not encounter such issues. This raises the possibility that this problem might be specific to the model or series I have purchased.

Wind-Free Feature and Sales Issue: While the air conditioner was marketed with the Wind-Free mode as a prominent feature, it appears that the mode does not operate when not in use during sleep or under conditions of hot weather and excessive humidity. Clearer communication regarding these limitations during the purchase would have been appreciated. Additionally, I would like to understand why the issue occurs in 9,000 BTU units while the 18,000 BTU units do not experience the same problem.

We are currently in the fall season, with winter approaching. I believe it is crucial to address this issue before the upcoming summer season. I am hesitant to use the air conditioner if the Wind-Free feature does not function as intended.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving these issues and providing further clarification. I look forward to any possible solutions or information you can provide on this matter.
