Dear Samsung Care Team,

I am experiencing an issue with my Galaxy S23 Ultra while using the Instagram app. The problem specifically occurs when I watch Reels or videos on Instagram. Despite having the latest updates installed, the videos are not displaying in full-screen mode. There is a noticeable black space or margin at the top and bottom of the screen, which disrupts the viewing experience.

Here are the details of my device and issue:

  • Device Model: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
  • Software Version: [Your current One UI version, e.g., One UI 6.0]
  • Instagram Version: [Your Instagram version, e.g., 316.0.0.0]
  • Issue: Instagram Reels not scaling to full-screen; black borders visible.
  • Steps Taken to Resolve:
    • Cleared cache and data of the Instagram app.
    • Reinstalled the app multiple times.
    • Enabled "Full-Screen Mode" in Labs settings.
    • Checked for phone and app updates.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I have also tested Instagram on other devices, and the problem does not occur, indicating that it may be specific to the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

I kindly request your guidance or a solution to resolve this issue. If any logs or screenshots are required for further diagnosis, I can provide them as well.

Looking forward to your response.

Instagram reels aren't displayed on full screen on all devices. It's not a specific issue with your device or Samsung. Instagram developers are the ones who can offer an option to fill up the entire screen
