S7 Edge shuts down randomly

After I recently updated to Nougat 7 I find that my phone randomly shuts down by itself . Then on start up if freezes and I have to hold down the power button for a long while.
It repeats this process a number of times.

Anyone else having the same issues or a possible solution?

reset it and update the software

I've done a reset and software update. The phone is still experiencing a boot loop.
