no sound when connectes to bluetooth

After upgrading to android pie 9.0 whenever connected to bluetooth handfree, no sound for notifications comes from external speaker.

Anyone have solution.??

Go to setting, then sound, then earPhone mode, then notification in earphone mode set it to never. Then notification will sound in speakers.
