Can we swipe down from anywhere on the homescreen, first, the notification panel comes down with a bounce effect. Then if swipe left, we go to the control panel. In between these 2, there is a serious issue.
The bounce animation is slow and the left swipe doesn't work until the bounce animation is over! So if want to go to the control centre in a snap, i cannot instantly swipe down and then swipe left, i have to wait for the bounce animation to be over!
Yes. Swipe down animation is linear and it takes a full second to complete. If you try to swipe up immediately after swipe down, that touch would also be ignored. I've reported it as a bug. You should probably do the same.
