Hi team,

Currently we open notification panel by swiping from top to bottom.

Considering the One UI and one handed user control over the screen I would suggest samsung to change the notification panel and options gesture to swipe from bottom to top through the middle of the screen so that it wont impact the home button or recent apps gesture. Also the user would be able to use it easily.

This gesture is somehwat similar to iPhone' notification panel.

No need to swipe from top to downside for Notifications.
You can swipe downside from anywhere to downside.
Try swipe from middle of screen to downside.

Exactly... And swiping from bottom is a big no, it's in Oppo and Vivo phones already and I hate that.

Buddy it's already easy... You can swipe down even at the bottom portion of the screen. Why are you swiping from the top? It's not needed. A simple flick at the bottom portion of the screen will bring the notification panel down for you.

If you don't need it.
Please leave my suggestion post as it is...don't say "No"...I am suggesting here to samsung...please show support if there is a Yes.

And I personally think this will change the way user uses the phone using one hand.

Think about S22 ultra which is huge and somewhat difficult to operate using one hand.

We don't want. If you want better one handed mode. Use one handed operation plus good lock module and use diagonal swipe to show notifications panel. It has made my experience awesome.

I am aware about one handed mode. However if you check the same fearure on iPhone you will realize that all the options in notification panel as well has the notifications are easy to reach.

Currently I am using S22 ultra which is huge in size but I cannot reach the notifications or options at the top.

But apple has made it so easy that using one hand you can access all the notifications and options. (Even on iphone pro max which is just 0.1 inch smal than s22 ultra).

I think should bebimplemented

You can set to swipe diagonally from either of the sides of the phone to pull notification panel Just like how you do to navigate back (but diagonally) and that too from any portion of the display edge. (Use good lock module)

@RajYadavNP, I think you didn't understand the feature that I was requesting for buddy.

I want the notification bar gesture and position to be changed. Instead of swiping from top to bottom I am requesting it to be from bottom or middle of the screen swipe to the top.

Also the notification panel at the bottom would be easier to reach on big devices such as S22 ultra that I use. Currently it is very difficult to use the option from notification panel using one hand.

I have attached a sample video for your reference that I am requesting for.

P.S. this video is not created by me or there is no obligation against it. It's just for your reference.
