Hi, hope you all are doing well.

OneUI 7 beta program for S23 series has been great till now but there is one major feature that I think should be added, atleast to S23 Ultra & that is "Full Screen" Always on display.

S23 Ultra AOD vs S24 Ultra "Full screen" AOD

As you can see from above, Full screen AOD looks way more pleasing & samsung should really consider adding it to S23 Ultra with OneUI 7.
S23 Ultra (left) vs S24 Ultra (Right) with Full screen AOD.

If there are any issues with burn in protection, samsung can just make it so that Full screen AOD stays on for few minutes/seconds before switching to normal AOD, That way it'll look good and won't affect hardware at all.

Hope this gets implemented cuz the AOD rn looks very bad and unpleasant.

Thanks.

Since S23 series doesn't have 1-120hz LTPO panel...it would drain a lot of battery when we have full screen AOD. I personally have an s23 and I feel even though it would look good...but the display will be running on 24hz+plus wallpaper will be displayed which would definitely drain a huge amount of battery.

S23 Ultra has 1~120hz controller, atleast that should get the full screen AOD.

& in the post i wrote that they can just switch from Full screen AOD to normal aod after a while if there's any hardware limitation, the AOD solution rn in S23 series just looks bad.

Hardware is not capable of full screen AOD. Also Samsung has made it clear that some features won't come to s23 and older series.
