All Samsung members, assemble here to bring back Samsung DeX features for One UI 7! Samsung confirmed DeX for PC isn't supported on One UI 7 phones, but we can change that! Let's raise our voices like before—comment & share to reach Samsung developers and the mobile division head. 💪
Is there not going to be some kind of replacement for Dex? Why is it being completely removed on the newer software?
Dex can do far more than Phone Link. Bring it back or let us know if there's another version like Dex coming for the newer OneUI/Android versions, please.
Bring back DEX, Link to Windows simply isn't the same, the performance is awful, I really don't like it. Meddling with apps that work well will drive me and others to Apple. I look forward to you reinstating DEX very very soon.
Microsoft has been unable to offer a comparable product to Samsung Dex on PC. I am on a Note 20, and considering NOT buying your Fold 7 for this particular reason. Dex extends accessibility of my laptop, I am not going to spend $1000=$2000 dollars for less functionality than what I have today. Please re-open DEX access to the PC app, on windows. Taking away existing capabilities, for a much diminished alternative is really heavy work.
I hardly don't understand why you add a very useful feature and users get used to using it and then it is It is canceled with an upcoming update! The update supposedly increases features, not reduces them and replaces them with a very bad service (link to windows), and does not perform 10% of what they were before. This is very frustrating. This feature is very useful and made it easy for me to do many things. This removal is very frustrating and needs a reactivation In the next update... if Samsung already cares about the opinion of its customers on products and services.
Dex works great when you're on a company device. No issues with being able to hook it up that way been doing it for years. However, with this Link to windows mess needs a personal Microsoft Account to be able to work and personal Microsoft accounts are blocked from being allowed to be used on most Business systems. That by itself should keep Dex working for UI 7. Not to mention the link with windows is just horrible. Samsung is way better than this.
