الملف الامن وDear customer,
To resolve this issue and reset your Secure Folder password, we offer the following options:
Option 1: Forgot Pattern or PIN Code
1. Launch the Secure Folder app and deliberately enter the wrong pattern or PIN code.
2. Tap on "Forgot pattern" or "Forgot PIN code," and then select "Reset." This action will prompt you to sign in to your Samsung Account.
3. Sign in to your Samsung Account, and you will then be able to set a new PIN, pattern, or password to log back into Secure Folder.
Option 2: Change Lock Type
1. Open the Secure Folder app and enter your current lock type (PIN, pattern, or password).
2. Tap on the three dots menu icon and select "Settings."
3. Choose "Lock type" and re-enter your current Secure Folder PIN, pattern, or password.
4. Once you've entered your lock type, you can proceed to change your Secure Folder passcode.
Option 3: Sign Out and Reinstall Secure Folder
1. Go to your device's Settings and select your Samsung Account.
2. Sign out of your Samsung Account.
3. Re-launch the Secure Folder app and tap on "Uninstall."
4. After uninstalling Secure Folder, sign back into your Samsung Account, and then reinstall the Secure Folder app.
5. Follow the setup process to configure Secure Folder with your new passcode.
Please note that the availability of the "Forgot PIN" or "Forgot Pattern" menu depends on whether the ‘Reset with Samsung account’ option is enabled. If not, you may need to follow the steps outlined in Option 3.
Greetings,
Samsung support team
