Android 12 disgusting overscroll effect.

Hello, guys. Samsung moderators ignore my complain about elastic overscroll effect bringed to oneUI 4.0. If you don't like it too, and want the option to choose between the old "ripple" and new "disgusting elastic" - like this post and report the issue to Samsung on their site or any apps.

For Samsung: I am offended by your indecent ignorance. A lot of people are talking about the issue, but you are using auto-reply? What is important to you? Adding palestine to the list of countries or caring about your real costomers?

You are absolutely right, it's Android feature, but Samsung has some resources to alternate it some way (or add ability to alternate it by user).
For me this kind of effect seems not consistent with oneUI chaste and pedant style, and I would like to have ability to avoid seeing this.

You can disable some animation to turn of this
In developers option
Tap on animation duration scale and turn it off

It's the option, but disabling this parameter affects other animations also.

As everyone said, it's an Anrdroid 12 stock animation. I like this animation, but I can understand why you don't like it.

You can disable the animation, by those steps:

1. Activate "Developer Options" by go to Settings->About phone->Software details/info->Tap on "Build number" a couple of times (I think 5-7 times) till you see a message popping you are now a developer.

2. Go to Settings->Developer Options.

3. Find 3 Settings, under "Drawing"/"Sketch" category (I don't know how שרטוט is translate on an English system).
- Window animation scale.
- Transition animation scale.
- Animator duration scale.
On each setting, turn it to "Animation off".

That's it. Now you don't have the overscroll effect.
Pay attentiom: by doing the following process you diable some other system animations.


On another topic, I have to say that I am so offended by Samsung Global, that decided to take a side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and add a website ment for Palestine, a non existing country.
Yes, I understand that it ment for the Palestinian Authority and not to an actual country, but I think that they need to find a different name to the website. "Samsung Palestinian Autority" is much much better than "Samsung Palestine"!

Thanks for the answer, Alon7, your method is working for sure, but yes, it disables all the animations. About palestine: I would offer Samsung a name for palestinian site, for example: "Samsung HAMAS" or "Samsung FATAH". Sounds cool and modern, agree?)
