Big thanks to Samsung for removing OEM Unlock in One UI 8 – this is a game-changer for anti-theft. Now flashing bypass firmware is impossible, and stolen devices are almost worthless to thieves.
But there’s one last gap: If the phone is unlocked, anyone can still turn off Location without a password – even if Find My Mobile is on. A thief could disable tracking before the owner can react.
💡 Solution: Require Samsung account password or PIN/biometric to turn off Location when Find My Mobile is enabled – just like iPhone’s “Find My.”
