This would help users easily see the real-time speed they’re getting from their Wi-Fi or cellular network, without needing to open a separate app like a speed test tool. Key points for the feature: 1. Show live network speed (upload + download) in the status bar or widget.
2. Allow users to manually set the refresh rate (e.g., 1 second, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.) so they can balance accuracy with battery consumption.
3. Keep the display lightweight and minimal so it doesn’t affect performance.
This feature would give users more transparency into their network quality and help them quickly identify when connectivity is slow or unstable.
