Add support for LHDC audio codec in OneUi 5 on galaxy devices...So many good headphones nowadays use LHDC audio codec but with samsung devices we're not able to take full advantage of those headphones..So please consider adding support for the LHDC audio codec in OneUi5...

Oh didnt knew that. I guess it may need more hardware than on software to add that codec. Also, its not that popular in the mainstream like LDAC (as far as I understand) so it may take time to get that on newer hardware.

No it doesn't need any extra hardware...Every major Android OEM support LHDC like vivo, xiaomi, oppo etc..and LHDC codec can be added to a device via software update...Just like OnePlus added support for LHDC last year on their OnePlus 9 and 9 pro via software uodate later in the year as their OnePlus buds Pro exclusively support LHDC, Aac and Sbc codecs only..

I completely agree, the restrictions in codecs look like a compulsion to use only proprietary products of the brand. Make the buds pro 2 the best on the market and there will be fewer questions. But in general, there should always be a choice.
