Feedback: Screen Recording FPS Option for Gaming

Hello Samsung Team,

I’m using the Galaxy S24 Ultra and noticed a serious issue while gaming. Currently, the native screen recorder automatically records at 120 FPS whenever we play PUBG/BGMI at 120 FPS. This causes massive lag — frame rates drop to 28–22 FPS, making the game unplayable.

On flagship devices like the S24 Ultra, this shouldn’t be happening. The problem is that users don’t have the option to choose recording FPS (e.g., 30 or 60 FPS) while keeping gameplay at 120 FPS. On iPhones, for example, gameplay can run at 120 FPS but recordings are capped at 60 FPS, which prevents such performance drops.

I strongly request Samsung to add an option to set the screen recorder frame rate (30/60/120) so users can enjoy smooth 120 FPS gameplay while recording at lower FPS if desired. This small change will greatly improve the gaming and recording experience on Galaxy devices.

Thank you.
