When you click on the bluetooth icon it will enable bluetooth and search for a new device.

Yes , that is what happening from OneUi 6 also na, No change in it.

You have two different actions, icon is a direct on off toggle
Clicking on the "wifi" "bluetooth" name gives you an expanded view
