QuestionsI wrestled with same issue for months, including 2 hrs on phone with cell provider (Koodo) and nearly 1hr with Samsung Tech Spt; both remotely accessed my phone but neither could resolve issue.
Then after just 5 mins at a Samsung Experience store - issue resolved! They forced phone to download the latest Koodo (ie my current provider's) software package; the phone was still operating on my previous cell provider's software package.
Appears when Samsung issue a software update they do so thru' all the cell providers ie samsung push update to cell provider, who then push to each subscriber's phone (with, it would appear, some individual provider tweaks).
The mind-blowing aspect of this is that neither Samsung's or Koodo's "expert" technical support teams were knowledgable enough to be aware of this pretty obvious issue/fix (at least it should be obvious to any Samsung/provider tech spt).
