Screen-On intelligent scan is not working

Face & Iris recognition not working when phone is being woken up by the home button. I have to swipe on the screen then only the intelligent scan starts scanning my face and iris. Does anybody else face this issue?

Yes, When opening screen by pressing on screen button its not triggering face recognition. when turned on using power physical button its starts recognise

its a newly added feature.Use power button to unlock the phone.
