When Samsung will release update to support airtel 5G network in India? Chinese phones are already on 5G in Mumbai

What is the issue is the phone not with with 5g network. All phones are 5g ready

Nope my friend : phones are following global 5g wide band standards ; problem with india is Airtel & Others are going for mid band 5g which has better coverage & can reuse old towers : for that reason the mid bands has to be unlocked via ota update.

Jio offers different 5G technology. States same problem , needs OTA update from samsung to activate 5G on S21 series

Like i said 5G is active on S21 series : few mid wave bands r not : that what needs activation. Go to anywhere out of India your current phone will work flawlessly.

Mine also same model but airtel thanks app says software update required. BTW did you check speed?

On my phone as well it says update required, but I still get 5G
Speed ranges from 25-250 Mbps at my place
