This OneUI 6.0 Beta is turning my already poor battery backup phone (Galaxy S22 Base) into a garbage. I know, I know, it's a beta software and bugs are to be expected. But this is beyond bugs. My phone has turned into a mini heater. It's hot most of the time, even in my pocket I can feel the warmth. Fully charged at 11am today. At around 3pm, battery is down to 40 percent. All I did was make 2 or 3 calls each lasting about 3 minutes at most. All these in battery saving mode.
I would rate this beta 0 out of 10 in terms of battery backup.
Planning to roll back to OneUI 5.1
Even when the stable version is out, I will not installed it until I am sure that the battery problem is resolved.
I Completely forgot to mention that I use 5G network throughout my day. Nobody believes it but I've observed that the 4G consumes noticeably higher amount of battery and I've faced the heating issues while using 4G. I don't know why but 5G does consumes minimal amount of battery and protects against heat.. So if you are from India then use the Reliance JIO 5G.. they are providing unlimited 5G data as a beta program 😂. results are mind blowing.
