5G is supported out of the box for S21series.

Airtel ,Jio & Vodafone has limited band support and also it's in testing phase . I have travelled international : 5G works fine!
Wait till Airtel n Jio rolls out 5G mid/ wide spectrum support or Samsung pushing out an update for carrier specific band support ( Airtel in-talks with Samsung).
Also Its too early to jump to 5G as of now ; gonna consume battery like mad. Atleast wait a month or so till network is stable and out of Beta phase.

Band Supported by SMG 998B : 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41, 66, 77, 78 SA/NSA/Sub6

 Airtel has acquired five bands-- 900 MHz (n8), 1800 MHz, 2100MHz(n1), 3300 MHz(n78), and 26 GHz (n258)-- for pan India 5G service
Reliance has acquired five bands-- 700MHz (n28), 800MHz(n5), 1800MHz (n3), 3300MHz(n78) and 26GHz (n258)-- for pan India 5G service
Vodafone has bought just two 5G bands 3300MHz (n78) and 26GHz (n258)

P.S : Some bands are not enabled & As per Airtel : they are speaking to Samsung & Apple to enable the mid frequency bands in the phone. As per the last update Samsung & Apple will push out an update to enable 5G mid band spectrum . Not sure about Jio or Vodafone's progress. Pls wait for sometime : things should fall into place soon.

(Do have a look at the above link )

Hope this clears the confussion guys😊 no need to worry.

It's quite clearly mentioned in the link that all versions of the s21 except the FE are awaiting a software update. Wondering if Samsung will go to the lengths to make that available for beta users. Quite simply put, the pool of users is too low. Bear in mind, users for now have to be in one of the 8 cities where airtel 5G is currently deployed running a Beta on one of the S21s..
Fingers crossed it arrives soon..

PS: Even if it's going to chew on battery like crazy, it's absolutely worth it in mind to be able to experience it from the get go..
