Since updating to One UI 7, my screen-on time's way better than with One UI 6.
I found out that they bumped the minimum refresh rate down from 24Hz to 1Hz. So now, when it's idle, it goes from 120Hz all the way down to 1Hz. When its in standard mode it goes from 60hz to 1hz. If that's not a bug, then kudos to Samsung for doing that—the screen can handle it, but the software held it back before. This should give you way more screen-on time.
To check enable show refresh rate toggle in developer options.
