Dear Samsung Team, 

The latest update of OneUI 6.0 Beta 3 has rendered the phone F23 5g unusable. Multiple users have downloaded the Beta 3 version released by Samsung on 7th November and facing the issues listed below:

1) Mobile Internet not working
2) Lag in UI
3) Over-heating even in light tasks. Example: Using WhatsApp, Youtube, Chrome.
4) Wi-fi turns off sometimes automatically


Dear Samsung Team, please understand the severity of the situation. Users can ignore the lag in UI and to certain extent the overheating as well, but with mobile internet not working at all makes the phone unusable for any task.

Users cannot step of out their homes as mobile internet fails to work at any point of time and disconnects us from the outside world. We are using Wi-fi at home which is only a temporary at-home solution for this problem.

It has been 7 days since the update has been released and people are experiencing these problems, but there is no official reply from Samsung either about any solution for these problems or the release of Beta 4 version except than asking for data logs of the phone in other community posts regarding the same problem.

Although people have tried several methods of restarting the phone or re-inserting the sim these methods do not help in solving the listed problems.

Please provide few temporary methods so that mobile internet starts working again or release the Beta 4 version as soon as possible.

That's why I have written in the post that the phone is unusable without the internet. There is one hard way you can follow to get rid of this immediately. You need to hard reset your phone. If this is your primary phone and you have no other option then you have to go this way only😟

if u factory reset. u will get sim 1 mobile data connectivity back. but sim 2 data issue will still persist

kindly share the log file. Without a log file we cannot analyze this issue, Also share video clips and images for better understanding and report this issue with the log file. This will help us to further investigate and resolve this issue.

To attach the log file: Samsung member > Click on beta banner > Switch to beta mode > Beta feedback > Send feedback > Error report.

Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.

Guys, it seems if u take out the sim tray while the Phone is on..it fixes the Volte and Data switching issue. I just did so and my F23 is working just like before. Instant data switching without loosing Volte

 

Steps i took:

  1. Backed up my device data to SD card using smart switch App
  2. Full factory reset. -> This only activated SIM1 (JIO) mobile data & Volte Calls. 2nd Sim still a issue. If u try to switch data now or use airplane mode issue worsens and you will loose data and calls service across both sims. DO NOT USE AIRPLANE MODE.
  3. If you take out the sim tray abruptly while Phone is on, and re-insert it after few seconds, both SIMs get Volte call and mobile data connectivity. Even data switching takes less than seconds as it used to be.
