Just yesterday updated the Fold 4 with latest update and immodestly after update it started acting up then inner screen stopped working properly.
Definitely seems to be software or UI thing because when i restart first time the inner screen works when opening then after that it doesn't.
I have done full factory reset as well not didn't help, today morning it display "Serious software issue check for update" message.
If i don't open then outer screen works without any issues but the phone when into safe mode now and in safe mode same issue also its not coming out of safe mode.
Has anyone faced this issue? I through of trading in Fdld4 to Fold6 as there is a sale going on but now have second thoughts as a software update can easily break inner screen.
My Fold 4 started acting the same way after the latest update. I'm glad to know it was the update and not my hardware. I'm used to just folding the phone when I am done with it but this seems to make it mess up. When I unfold the phone and the screen doesn't come on I press the side screen button once and then after a second or two I hit it again and the screen turns on. Leaving the phone unfolded helps as well. I really like the phone up until this latest update.
