Enabling Light Battery Mode on Beta

So apparently there is a way to enable light mode of Z fold 4 in S Series on OneUI 5 beta. The 'device care' in battery still shows optmised mode after enabling this. We could check the battery performance after enabling this and report back here.

Light mode:
adb shell settings put global sem_low_heat_mode 1

Default mode:
adb shell settings put global sem_low_heat_mode 0

Yes the value could be 1/True but does it actually apply to S series is something we need to check. I did a quick check on the CPU cores and didn't see any drop when it's 1.

The backup should increase at least by some hours under similar usage.

Yes it's not working as of now , need to see next 2 days , I will update from my end, but I saw in youtube that with the mode it's reduce performance of 8plusgen1 to 8 gen 1 to get more battery life. Now ours was 8 gen 1 so no improvement so far , but will check 2 days

Why ? Under batter , more battery settings u can see the profile option,

In that only optimised, high and maximum only there. Which is already there in previous version as well. No light mode or standard mode.

That's not available at present, with adb mode we are checking that works are not please read the thread completely

Over a day of moderate usage, still 35% left. Mostly on 4G only. Can't seem to infer whether it is actually working or Placebo. Will have to test for a few more days
