Ear buds 2 pro complete dead and warranty rejected

Hi everyone,

I am writing this post as my earbuds went completely dead as its not charging both via wireless and connected. When taken it to the service center the warranty was denied as due to the normal wear and tear on the cradle because the material itself is made of matte ruber which will be scratched by rubbing with finger nail. The worst part was that it's only been 5 months since I bought it and I don't know how the scratches on cradle due to normal wear and tear is linked to the buds not charging at all??? And when taken to the service centre they didn't even have let it diagnosed for what the issue is.

As far as I know Samsung covers earbuds under a one-year warranty that includes manufacturing defects (excluding batteries or other consumable parts subject to wear and tear). Accidents, misuse, and abuse are not covered by the warranty. Unauthorized repairs or alterations void the warranty.

My point exactly, the service centre where I took this product to denied to cover it under it warranty even without diagnosis of what the defect was... They just asked me what the problem was and just had a look at it and returned ino my hamds within 2 minutes and said sorry it cannot be repaired as it wont be covered for warranty due to scratches on... I was shocked with that response as the buds was working fine and the only problem is cradle is not charging

Maybe you can try to speak to the customer service advisor and explain that it is not related matters between cover scratches and dead earbuds

The warranty doesn't cover physical damage, so the advisor may relate to the scratch on the outside of the earbud case.
