Galaxy's step count is pretty accurate when I walk.
But it cannot detect walking or sitting.
For example, when I sit in a vehicle, I see it counting steps at the same speed.
I think it needs to be fixed.

Yeah, actually this app collects data from gyro sensor of your device. So, any movement (may be slow or fast) will be detected by the sensor. But....this can be fixed by tuning the sensor data capturing capability. Although 100% accuracy is not possible. Because, you can't filter sensor data 100%. But, with the help of proper tuning it can be set to 80 - 90% accuracy or more than 90%, But....below 100%

yeah, but Different systems can distinguish between sedentary and cardio by collecting different types of data. I want to capture that gap between sitting and walking.

yess brother, that can be achieved by tuning the data filtering functionality. So that, your app can recognize the difference between sit and walk 😊.....I think samsung will definitely optimize their system
